Privacy Policy
MyDayBack LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information.
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers two groups:
- Business Customers — businesses and their owners or staff who subscribe to MyDayBack to automate customer communications.
- End Customers — people who text, call, or otherwise interact with a business that uses MyDayBack to power those channels.
2. Information we collect
From Business Customers
- Account info — name, email, business name, business address, EIN, phone
- Billing info — payment method, processed by Stripe (we don't store full card numbers)
- Service configuration — business hours, pricing, FAQs, integration credentials you provide
- Communications with us — support emails, in-app messages
From End Customers
- Phone number (when you text or call a MyDayBack-powered business number)
- Message content — texts, voicemail recordings, voice transcripts
- Booking, reservation, and service request details you provide in a conversation
Automatically collected
- Server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps)
- Essential cookies on mydayback.com
3. How we use information
For Business Customers
- Operate and provide the MyDayBack service
- Bill subscriptions and process payments
- Train AI on your business-specific content (with your consent during onboarding)
- Send service-related communications
For End Customers
- Generate AI responses to your messages on behalf of the business you contacted
- Confirm bookings, send appointment reminders, deliver service information
- Improve service quality (in anonymized form)
We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not use End Customer SMS data for marketing outside the business you contacted.
4. Service providers
To operate MyDayBack, we use the following third-party service providers under data processing agreements:

These providers are contractually limited to using your data only to deliver their service to MyDayBack.
5. SMS privacy practices
When you text a MyDayBack-powered business number:
- We treat your phone number and message content as confidential.
- We use your information only to respond to your inquiry and deliver the service requested by the business you contacted.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
- Standard message and data rates may apply per your carrier.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. Data retention
- Active customer data — retained while your account is active
- Inactive customer data — retained 90 days after account closure for billing and dispute resolution
- End Customer SMS — retained for the duration of the conversation thread plus 12 months
- Aggregated, de-identified data used to improve our AI — retained indefinitely
- Backups — retained 30 days then permanently deleted
You can request earlier deletion (see Section 8).
7. Data security
We protect your data using:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+)
- Encryption at rest on database storage
- Access controls limiting employee access to a need-to-know basis
- Regular security updates to our infrastructure
No system is perfectly secure. We will notify affected users if a breach occurs, as required by applicable law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (California, Virginia, Colorado, EU, and others), you may have rights to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Opt out of certain processing
- Withdraw consent

9. Children's privacy
MyDayBack is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be notified to Business Customers via email and posted on this page.
